I uploaded a photo of the subject. This person is in this position in order to make herself seem panicked (anxious, in denial, afraid, could even be hearing voices).
|
Then I proceeded to add 'Motion Blur' to my photo. This blur created a panicked atmosphere the photo and the feeling of being overwhelmed and unable to cope.
|
Then I added the 'Black and White' filter to it. This would create a mood of despair.
I then added another ghost like image to the photo. This exemplifies the feeling of fear, of being overwhelmed and ultimate despair.
|
Then I used the clone tool to clone the subject in an almost ghost like way.
This is the final image. In order to have a more central place to fix your eyes on, I should have used a focus tool to use on the main subject (the person in the middle). Also, the background is not completely plain, so it can be distracting; I want the photo to solely focused on the subject's feeling's, thus emphasising them. The camera angle is above, so the subject looks more vulnerable to when the camera is straight on, or looking at an upwards angle. The use of the extra image that have less opacity is that it makes the person seem as if she has ghosts and emphasises her distress. It also makes the image more interesting.
|
I use the 'Magnetic Lasso Tool' in order to easily draw around the subject.
I did this multiple times and put them into position (and cropped the background image too).
Once I've done that, I made the subject's black and white.
|
Then I pressed enter and dragged the subject onto a new empty page. (This was on a different subject, but the same still applies).
I used the gradient tool to darken the edges. but then proceeded to put on a texture and then once again darken then the edges slightly using the gradient tool.
This is the final image. I could have used more photos which portrayed much stronger emotions like Christian's original photo did.
