Firstly, I open two portraits on Photoshop (in different layers).
Afterwards, I made both colour black (when on the Layer Mask).
After, I cropped it.
Finally I changed the contrast and brightness for each photo so that they were more appeared more even.
|
Secondly, I open 'Layers', 'Layers Mask' then 'Reveal All'.
Then, I used the Gradient Tool to blend the faces together.
Then i began to do a vignette, on the side of the mother.
This is the final image. It could be more even on the face and it is not blended as well as it could be to appear as if it were one person. There is more of the young girl (the daughter) on the right than on of the older woman (the mother) on the left. The vignette allows the person to be outlined and highlighted. However, it is uneven on each side, so it looks a little odd.
add a scratched paper or old picture texture form the Internet on top of this as a link to your other photographers, just to show you are experimenting combining their techniques,if you don't like it-still keep it and explain why..you could also do a black and white version to link again to others.

This photo went completely wrong. The facial features are completely different, and by using the same method as previous the phot did not work well at all. The proportions are all wrong so I hate this.
I could in future try different method to try and hangs the proportions so they look a little more even on each side. I re-did this by incoperating a different method: underneath. |
Although the proportions are better, they are still not 'perfect'. They are a little out of place, and the colours of the backgrounds used need to be changed. They can be changed/altered through the contrasts and vibrance tool in photoshop.
This work is inspired by two artists - Ilona Swarc and Ulric Collette. It is showing the difference and similiarties of the two. |
